A repair is going to be much cheaper than the replacement of the entire carpet.

By repairing - the bad section is cut out, a new piece is then back glued to the spot and trimmed to fit.
The repair will not be noticable, the section under the rear seat is what I use to do this, it is off your car, and is access.
I usually charge between - 30-75.00 depending on the repair size, and the spot where it is - the easier for me to get at it, the cheaper.

Replacing the entire carpet, will cost more because L:
the carpet is a expensive item to purchase, 150.00 plus labor.
All the seats console and seatbelts need to be removed to be done properly.
As well as much of the interior trim around the floor.

It depends on a lot of things. Are you replacing the whole carpet, or are you just having it repaired at an upholstery shop? The model of the car, and the work involved in doing the work.
The cheapest repair will most likely be at the shop, and having them repair the burned area. Take it to one and get a written estimate. When you have 3 estimates make a choice and take it there and get if fixed.
