Colt 45 is an idiot. The top rated farm system belongs to the Angels.
Colt 45: If your looking to compare home grown talent you don't even have the best in your division. The Yankees currently play with the following home grown talent: Hughes, Wang, Chamberlain, Rivera and Pettite just as pitchers. Then theres Jeter, Posada, Cano, Cabrera. Also why people are dumb for saying the Yankees buy a World Series, you have to pay to keep your home grown talent. Home grown for Boston: Lester, Papelbon, Varitek, Youkilis and Pedroia. WOW 2 allstars from Boston. Jeter's been there10 times by himself.

As of now, it has to be the Red Sox. They got Kevin Youkilus, a guy that was never supposed to even be a starter in the majors, to a guy who might win a gold glove at 1B, and has been one of the only guys on the team to be consistant up at bat. He has an amazing OBP.
Dustin Pedroia, he could easily win the ROY honors in the AL, and he had ALOT of doubters at the beginning of the season.
Johnathan Papelbon, Brought in as a starter, made into a closer, and pitched probably the best any rookie closer ever has. He has the potential to be one of the best closers ever if he continues the way he has so far.
Jon Lester, has the potential to be an ace in 3-5 years. He over came cancer, and pitched a win in less than a year, that shows you something about the guys in the minors in Pawtucket.
Jacoby Elsbury, speed of Ichiro. He has the most speed I have ever seen. has the potential to get to first on routine groundballs, and can induce wild throws that can help any team when they are struggling.
Craig Hanson, started good in his rookie season, then he took a step back this year, but he is still doing well enough in the minors to be considered a potential all star at some point in his career.
Clay Buckholtz, he is the future of the Red Sox pitching rotation, even with Beckett and Dice-K. This kid has the stuff to be a HOF, and if his first start in the majors is anything like the rest of his career, he will go very far.
plus, they have another pitcher that is in AA right now, that is also supposed to have a bright future, I don't remember his name, but he would add one more name to this list.

yeah me too, they always seem to get all the good rookies instead of trading players
Bill stoneman seemed always hesitant in trading his young guys also
p.s. and i'm not saying that just because i'm an angel fan. if i was a fan of some other team i would be saying the same thing :)
