I have to say that I am not the head of the house.....I do what I am told and don't ask questions......No one should have to "submit" to anyone.

Absolutely, so long as he also holds up his side of the deal. That's the way God intended it to be.

There is a beautiful story of a woman who was long married to a dictatorial man who wrote her a long list of her daily duties and lacked in the area of affection. The woman resented him for the many years they were married.

Some time later, her husband died, and she remarried. Her new husband was her first husband's polar opposite. He was loving, affectionate, and appreciative.

One day she was cleaning out the attic, and she found one of the old lists of duty that her first husband had written out for her. She began to burn with resentment, but as she read it, she realized that she still performed all the duties on the list. The difference was, she did them because she wanted to out of love for her husband.

Love makes all the difference in the world.

Yes, I agree. The husband of this wife will trust her and love her in return so they will both be happy and fulfilled. And their marriage will be blessed by God.
