He'll be hungry! But only feed him his usual meal next time. It's better to underfeed any fish than overfeed. Some people keep bettas at the office, and the fish do fine with meals only 5 days a week. My friend, a tropical fish store owner, buys bettas for friends' offices all the time, so it must be ok. But I'd rather have my bettas at home with me. They enjoy their meals, including the occasional fruit fly if I catch one!

Absolutely nothing.
It takes about 2 months for a freshwater fish to starve to death.
I go on vacation for 10 days and all my freshwater fish do fine without being fed while I am gone.
I know people that recommend feeding FW fish only once a week. It's not what I do, but it can be done without harming the fish.

In fact, the quickest, most common way to kill a fish is to overfeed it.

Nothing. Bettas can go for months without eating and still survive. Sometimes if i overfeed my bettas, i just skip feeding them for a day just to make sure they don't get constipated from over eating

They don't eat every day in the wild.... Nothing at all will happen to them. They don't need to eat every day like a dog or a cat.

The fish food labels say to feed 3x a day so you have a bunch of garbage in the bottom of your tank and you can go through containers of food faster, so they sell more.

nothing..you dont need to feed your fish everyday.

On fishprofiles.com it is a new concept, but it make sense. they recommend missing a meal or two a week to mimic natural conditions. As in the wild fishes arent guaranteed a meal everyday.

I skip a meal once a week on my bettas to keep their wiehgt in check and to avoid bowel problems.

But nothing will happen if you miss a meal.

Not a big deal.

in case you forget approximately to feed it for extra advantageous than a pair of weeks it could desire to be in hardship. some days, no concerns in any respect. in case you do bypass away for a weekend, or possibly an entire week, merely bypass away the fish without nutrients. lots safer than those feeders blocks or getting an fool to overfeed them. It should be okay if you feed it regularly but if you miss one day the fish will be fine. Don't worry.
