If you like Harry Potter you might want to try the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. They are amazing books and geared a little more towards teenage girls.
Have you read My Sister's Keeper? It's another great book for teens. :]

There is a series of books by Louise Rennnison about a 13-year-old (?) girl named Georgia Nicolson. I think the first in the series is "Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging". Georgia kind of reminds me of a teenaged Bridget Jones and the books are hilarious! I'd give them 5 of 5 stars. Check them out!

I have answered this question so many times, I decided to dedicate a web site to answer this question. Here it is:
http://www.life-after-harry-potter.com
Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book, and a "reader's choice" list of favorite books.
I hope this helps.

the georgia nicolson series by louise rennison are hilarious and easy to relate to. the first book is "Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging" and there are so far 8 books.
other than that i really loved the Phillup Pullman series "His Dark Materials" starting with "the Golden Compass" (there are three books in that series)

malorie blackman-'noughts and crosses' trilogy. It's sort of a modern day teen version of 'to kill a mockingbird'.
