I went to Indiana University. I wanted a big college, with big classes that was away from home, but still not too far (two hours) so I could come home when I felt like it. People I went to high school with went there, but I could avoid them if I wanted to and I met a lot of people from all over the U.S. from New York to Alaska and Colorado. Do you college visits and for everything you like about a college, try to find a drawback. IU was perfect for me, but I'm not so naive to think it will be great for everyone.
