I just had a baby 2 weeks ago, and I lost my pregnancy weight very fast, yes I'm 7 lbs away from my prepregnancy weight but I still don't look bad.
My neighbors were moving and hired some moving company to help them. Well I went outside to move my car from the spot that I parked in so another older neighbor could park there since it's closer to his apartment and the moving truck was blocking his spot, well I was in a pair of jeans and a white tank top that was tight. Well one of the movers decided to be vulgar and say yeah I'd hit that to one of his buddies and stared the whole time I was walking to my car, never once did I say anything to him. Well on the way back to my apartment, he decided to stare some more, it made me feel really uncomfortable. So when I came in the house I slamemd the door, hubby asked what's wrong so I told him. Well, he didn't get upset, he's just like at least you know you look good and if people didn't stare you would feel unattractive, is he right?

I expected him to at least get a little bit upset, since the guy made me feel uncomfortable about it, because the way he stared just gave me the creeps.

No I didn't expect him to go all "caveman" but it would have been just nice for him to poke his head out the door and say you know what it's impolite to stare or something ya know.

I know how you feel. I hate it when guys practically slob all over me in the stores etc. But my husband just tells me if I don't want to be stared at to "ugly" myself up. Well I don't think I have to do that just because some perverts can't control themselves. While I do like to know I look nice, it's very uncomfortable to be undressed in some creeps mind. I understand your position, but men just don't get it.

Did you want him to go all caveman, confront them and go to jail for assault?

The movers were vulgar, but harmless.

So, hubby had three options....

Go caveman and attack them ===>He goes to jail
Get mad, but do nothing =====> Look like an impotent wimp
Laugh it off knowing you were not harmed.

Which would you have preferred.

You were not hurt, you were not touched and like hubby said, you look good enough to get comments.

Hubby is right....

BTW, when I was a young, I worked construction, if you want to get guys to back off, stare right back at them, they will back off. The guys I worked with only made comments to women that they didn't think would actually take them up on it.

No way..Your not acting right...your husband is proud of the way you look why is he going to go knock someone out for you because the truth is spoken. Maybe you are still self conscience even though your near your baby weight.

Hell I am 34 had three kids, not one stretch mark and i am a size 2. I am proud of how I look and if I want to show it off or hubby is happy I show it off..THANK GOD! because I know I am lucky compared to others who can't loose the weight so I am going to enjoy it. You walk way in a tiff every time..then you don't deserve to have what you have.

Be Happy and Enjoy it!

Okay let's pretend we are married ok?

My wife just had a beautiful baby two weeks old. My beautiful wife lost 7 pounds already even though she doesn't even look fat. She walks her sexy *** to move a car and some moving bums and his friends say vulgar things about my wife. My wife tells me what they said. So I "QUIETLY GO INTO MY ROOM AND GET A WOODEN BOX. I OPEN THE BOX AND GET THAT DAMN 10 GAUGE (NOT 12 BUT 10) SHOTGUN AND BEGIN TO LOAD IT. I PUSH MY WIFE TO THE SIDE AS SHE HEARS TWO GIANT BANGS OUTSIDE. COPS COME, ARREST ME, PROCESS ME AND TO JAIL I GO FOR LIFE.

Well.............maybe not that extreme but my dad almost did something like that and I almost beat a guy with the backside of a splitting maul for making threats about me and her being of a different race.

I say he handled himself well and it takes more of a man to not engage in violence. And I know I will be extremely defensive when me and my wife starts having children.

All in all You both are right because you told him and he did the right thing by not resulting in violence.

Ok, I'm a pig, but from where I'm coming, down inside you were loving the attention. What woman doesn't like to hear that she is still hot after just having a baby?

Maybe the guys were a little rude, but come on. What did you expect your husband to do?

I was told that men think about sex every 3-4 minutes and we women don't so your husband doesn't see it as disrespectful for the men to talk like that. A lot of us women don't see it as disrespectful unfortunately either yet it is. Anything that you don't want said in front of your parents is disrespectful to me. He being your husband probably should have dealt with that situation. He could have went outside and talked to the men about what they said concerning you or at least comforted you when you told him the conversation perhaps it's an area for your husband to grow in.

Every man has to find his own way of dealing with situations of this sort if he spends much time with attractive women.

I know for a fact kicking the other guy's teeth out doesn't offer a long-term solution.

Probably it has to be up to the woman to deal with such matters unless it gets out of hand, at which time the partner occupies the backup position.

Of course he is right, what did you expect him to say about it? He married you , so he knows you look good and he knows he cannot blame other men for thinking you look good too. He is just confident that he has you and is probably not worried about them buffoons and as a man who married a beautiful woman he probably knows how pointless it is to get confrontational to every idiot in the world that hits on you.

I'd go outside with a blowtorch and a pistol and scare the living sh*t out of that guy. (Kidding - but I would stomp around and be p*ssed off really loud for a while.)

But inside, I would be glad other guys think you are hot.

Congrats on the weight loss hottie, er, I mean, the baby, young mother.

Hell no..it is on..I would confront the mover and then contact the company and file a official complaint. Then I ask him paper or plastic...just so I know what to tell the the cops when they come to pick up his body.
