Almost any mammal can detect a female in menstruation. Bear, ape, deer, rat, even some humans. It is more difficult for humans because we associate with each other constantly. Also because human mensuration occurs almost constantly around us. We become desensitized. Not like in most other mammals when there are specific seasons to the females cycle. It occurs one or twice a year in most other mammals. That's why there is all the fuse and all the energy expended by males of species other than Homo.
Danger? I don't think so. A bear would detect you, might even check you out, but you ain't a female bear.

this could be a stupid question, or perhaps stupider solutions. All of you're trolls. i'm hoping it is not a intense question. i do no longer think of the scent of menstruation would be stable adequate to entice bears and lead them to attack you. additionally, you're assuming that the female would be menstruating. you do no longer comprehend this. you are able to't no longer take a woman merely on the grounds which you think of she'll entice bears....god it fairly is dumb. i actual wish this could be a troll positioned up.

Bears have a very developed sense of smell that is even better than a dog's to compensate for its poor vision.
you can say that bears see through their noses.
considering that mensturation is blood, then it is definitely possible that a bear can smell it.
but i dont understand why you have to be in danger ? does your work involve working with bears ? if so take precautions.

Not only bears and other animals, but so can other women. Studies have been shown that when you get large group of women, they usually get in sync with their menstural cycles. The phermones released is responsible for this.

WHAT????? I am sure all species have a sense of smell when it comes to blood. However, I have never heard of a single incident where a bear specifically does. If you are that worried, just don't go camping!
