I say ken about 3000 times a day being a Dundonian. To be honest I never thought that weegies and west coasters said ken. I always thought it was more Edinburgh & Dundee.

My partner is Scottish and he uses it when he is talking to other Scots.

I hear 'yer ken' a lot, now that I am living here in Scotland. And I think it sounds so cool. Don't let anyone tell you how to speak. I find the Scottish accent very sexy. : )
