i have been asked to find an investor 4 a friend. she has an idea which seems a fantastic original one but she has no way of funding herself. she is to old to apply to the princes trust and i have no idea where she can go for help with a business loan or advice. she lives in the midlands if anyone has any ideas

First ignore the jokes from the Loan Scam merchants ..
There have been many similar Questions here = go look at the previous Best Answers,
As an alternative search for Business Assistance in Google etc. (also look outside the web .. often there are local Government schemes and things like Lottery Funding ..)

there is a organisation called angels i think and they have investors investing in people that cannot get funding. I'm not 100% on the name i'm sure it is angels but contact business link in your area just for advice.
