The only one I have so far is the Casualty list onthe assult of Fort Wagner. What I really need is a link to the letters Robert Gould Shaw wrote home. That would really make my day. Any other relavent, useful documents would be greatly appriciated. Thank you!

There is a site on the Veterans association that has details of troops. Letters may well be pushing it a bit, you'll have to try and find relatives who may have old letters. Unlike the UK, I don't think you have "regimental" museums in the US (I presume you're in the US), since these regiments tend to be "Local" they can shed a light on the men and conditions in a particular regt. in a particular period (occasionally letters too).
