so i park my car at the curb when i get home. my neighbor's motorcycle was behind my car. i backed out and i accidentally didnt see it and nudged it down. so i went outside and the owner's mom helped me pick it back up. there was no major damage to the motorcycle just aesthetic stuff. the worse damage i did was to its headlights. it completely shattered and broke off. i told his mom that i was willing to pay for the damage and that i was sorry. so i was wondering how much the tail light will cost me? oh yea its a pretty nice honda... if that helps any.

Do you have insurance? The aesthetic stuff it what matters to a motorcycle owner. That stuff is expensive. This could be over 500 dollars.

Not enough information. Can't tell you how much a replacement taillight will cost without knowing the year and model of this Honda you backed into. You said it was a "nice" Honda, so be prepared to pay up to $150.00 for the entire taillight assembly, especially if it was a Gold Wing.

If it is a Honda original part, I know it will be over $100. Bike parts are very expensive, sorry to say. You may be able to find one on ebay if you know the model of the bike. Do a search.

I buy most of my bike parts there because they are 1/2 what the dealer will charge you.

You'll just have to price the stuff at the dealer. Hopefully you're not dumb enough to use insurance and get an accident on your record and double you rates just to save a couple hundred bucks. It needs to be thoroughly inspected too. A bent fork or frame isn't always obvious. and those little scratches on the tank aren't minor. You have to repaint the whole part on a cherry bike to restore it to new condition.

Up to $200 depending on the model! Next time look behind you! It might have been a child instead of a bike. That would really be expensive!
