Why was Pres. Bush in Florida? He didn't act surprised when he was told. Why was Cheney not in the White House? Maybe they weren't expecting the passengers to bring the plane down in that field before it had a chance to hit the White House? It was very strange the way those buildings came down. Just like controlled demolitions. In just a few hours after they started to burn, it took just seconds for them to fall. And no one thinks that's strange? Straight down! There should have been a lot of investigation into why and how those buildings came straight down. Why did Build.7 fall straight down when it wasn't even hit and there were other buildgings inbetween them? These buildings were built to withstand being hit by jets. They had been hit by jets before and they did not fall. There had never been a steel building burn and fall like that before and it has not happened sense. The hole left in the Pentagon was way to small for a jet the size that was suppose to have hit. There was never any debris left behind from that jet found. There was far, far less money spent investigating the whys of these attacks as there was in the investigation Bill Clinton's private sex life. I mean Millions less money! Things that make a person go Hummmmmmm?

I lost my uncle on 9/11 and I never felt at ease with government and media based "investigations".. A friend of mine told me about this documentary that claims to prove that 9/11 was an inside job. Well I saw it and started to believe it and I started to get in touch by email with other people who have that belief.. I was shocked to get letters from people who identified themselves as my "allies", among them was an anti-Jewish hate group and organizations against the use of modern medicine, not to mention that I found out that Rosie O'Donnell had the same belief, a woman who later mocked Chinese people and failed to take responsibility.

Now I'm divided, on one hand I'm still not at ease with the so-called answers, but on the other hand the 9/11 conspiracy theorists don't seem to have all their marbles.

Because it was setup by the government as a pretext to get the Patriot Act passed.

They want to take all of our freedoms away and the only way they can do that is though submission.

There are traitors in our own govermnet that is going by the global plan to have the US included in a One World Government.

They must scare the US citizens into accepting less freedoms instead of forcing them like they do in other countries because WE STILL HAVE GUNS.

There is undeniable proof that 9/11 was indeed an inside job.

Just google "9/11 inside job" and you will be able to find hundreds of differnet websites that will teach you about what really happened on 9/11 and who was behind it.

Because America may have done it before. I don't believe in these theories myself, but there has been solid evidence to support the idea that the American government has "staged" or exaggerated foreign attacks to draw us into conflict with other countries. Check the links below for more information.

Well, the government has lied to their own people before...mainly so they can get support for agenda they wish to pursue. The best example, I think, is Harry Truman. Following the end of WWII, the United States government wanted to help Europe rebuild with tons of grants. Their main reasoning was so that Soviet Russia wouldn't take over the world. However, they assumed, rightly, that the American people would not rally behind them. Who really wants all their tax dollars to go and rebuild other countries when we had problems of our own? Well, one of Truman's aides told him that if he would only 'Scare the heck out of the American people, and they'll do anything.' So, Truman and his advisors made up the Red Scare and the idea that the Soviets at the Atomic Bomb and they had intelligence about them that they didn't have etc. And that was it, we followed them like drones. Hook, line and sinker.

Yes, they were vindicated a few years later when the Soviets were found to have the bomb. But they got lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it.)

And that's just one example.

So would Bush and Cheney lie to the American people so that they could control the world's oil? Decide for Yourself.

Kinda funny that George Bush Sr. met with Bin Laden's brother in Washington DC the day before 9-11-01.

Kinda funny that dubyah's(what a low class nickname, sounds like something from a trailer park) younger brother was head of security at the WTC and there were many evacuations before 9-11-01.

Kinda funny the way the buildings came down, you could see explosives going off in certain floors. Even the rescue workers admitted to hearing explosives going off in the building.

Kinda funny there were mysterious power outages before 9-11-01 and spools of wire and "new wire" being strung out in the buildings itself.

Kinda funny that boxcutters got past airport security and even some planted on other planes as well.

Kinda funny that the USAF did not shoot those planes down instead a certain VP was yelling no do not shoot the airliners down.

Kinda funny about the look on W's face when he was told about 9-11-01 no change of emotion at all.

Kinda funny that ALL aircraft was grounded EXCEPT Airforce One which was allowed to basically fly around at will.

Kinda funny when the plane hit the pentagon there was NO visual proof of where the wings would have struck the building.

And flight 93 demolished like "they" said it was, no plane in the history of passenger flight has ever been demolished to the point where a crash team could not retrieve the parts and pieces. Besides if they said it was reaches the speeds reported on the way down that plane would have came apart before even hitting the ground.

I would love to see the remains of the planes that hit towers, the pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania for myself.

Has anyone ever asked to see the remains of those planes?
Not to my knowledge

So i believe 100% that our government was behind 9-11-01 to much suspicious crap for them not to be involved in it.

Just my 2 cents but i guess they don't count because I don't play the democrate, republican BS politc game. I dont follow any party I believe in what I believe and not by some idiot in DC trying to "brainwash" me into their way of thinking!!!!

A better question would be:

What makes them think the Government would be competent enough to pull off such a scam and keep it a secret? They are just people, not super genius evil conspirators. With the number of people that would have to be involved in such a massive conspiracy, someone would talk.

Can't even get a hummer in the Oval Office without the whole world knowing about it.

I wasn't going to respond to this question until I read the man's post before mine slamming Mary Lou's answer. She was not the only person to post conspiracy theories. Yet he choose to debunk hers. She gave the source of her information yet you Mr. Man choose to insult her intelligence and not the men who posted similar remarks. Why pick on her and not them? This makes me want to think Hummmmmmmmm?

There was something about that on the History Channel the other day.

One of the explanations was that people don't want to believe that 19 nobodies could cause such destruction.

I really really really want to exonerate our govt from at least limited participation but the more research I do the harder it becomes. What I can believe is that our govt didn't do this on it's own. What I cannot believe is it's own version of events and how it could work harder to bury and cover up evidence than it has in disclosing all latent facts relevant to that day.
