I dont know..i have heard soo many different things..i think its that you just have to answer in the same category ALOT..and get a high percentage of best answers..but im not too too sure..because i just logged on today and suddenly i noticed i got the "top contributor" label!?!?..

It's not based on points, % of Best Answers & regular contributions are what counts
