Dayzhanay---not sure how they spelled it, but it's pronounced like the French word 'dejeuner.' Had a brother named Dijon. My sister used to call them Mustard and Lunch.

Demi Moore's daughter Scout is named after the little girl in the book To Kill A Mockingbird, and her daughter Rumer is named after a female writer named Rumer Godden (still weird names though)

The Phoenix family (actors Joaquin and River and their parents and siblings) were hippies: they chose their own last name, the mom renamed herself Heart, and the kids all had *interesting* names

I work with a family who names their kids horrible names. the last girl was named:

"Bikiniwanna Haltertop Butterscoth Polkadot"

It's on her birth certificate, well as much as would fit anyways, and the hospital actually sent out a social worker to check on the family because of the name.

These are really going to sound strange but I am not joking about them.
I grew up going to church and it was just a small one and when visitors came we noticed.
I remember this one family coming in and didn't have just strange names like Zyra or Zebulah.
One of their names was "Lake of Fire" another was "Burning Bush" I don't think they every came back, But those were some strange names I will never forget.

I worked in an office where people filed forms every year on or about April 15th, and one form came in with the name---

I have 3 girls and my younger 2 have normal names. My oldest has a weird name though, Aryah Necholle. Aryah rhymes with Mariah.And Necholle is Nicole. Just spelled differently.
