It could be spelled Lynn, Lynne, Lyn, Lin, etc. Is that your first or middle name? Do you know someone with that name?

I know at least 3 people with Lynn for a middle name.

I have a cousin named Rachelle Lynn! I even knew 2 boys in school named Timothy Lyn E. & Timothy Lynn B. both in my class and had other friends with that name first or middle! =D

I've known several Lynns over the years and went out with three of them, Lin, Lynne and Lynette, as you can guess she was quite petite, but all lovely ladies.
But also not too far from where I live is the town of Kings Lynn, a port at the mouth of the Great Ouse, flowing into the Wash and the North Sea, where King John (of Robin Hood fame) lost all the Crown Jewels of England in a storm as he tried to sail across the Wash from Norfolk to Lincolnshire, silly man!

The first Lyn I knew was a boy, never got teased about it..
Then there was Marilyn who did not like her named and wanted to be called LYN and is
and Linnea who doesn't like her name and is called Lynn
and Lynne, as her first name..and Lynn..who does like her name... all of these people are 58 to 75 years old...and I'm sure I know more of them...no middle names here...

I used to work with a guy named Lynn and he never took any grief for it. I also knew a guy who was a motorcycle mechanic named Lynn.
The rest of them were women who were spelled Lynne, one of the was my friend's wife. It's not a common name by any means.

Lynn is the city I live in and it's my mom's middle name (spelled the same both ways)

Lynn is a beautiful name. I would say it hits the middle of the scale on your survey. I like it more then I dislike it.
My niece's name is Carol Lynn and we always called her Lynn. Sometime in her adult life she chose to go by Carol.
She had an unhappy childhood and I think she was seeking to forget that period in her life, and the name she went by, in it.
