Because of the rumor that was going around that claimed Jay Z was cheating on Beyonce with Rihanna...
Ppl started comparing them because of this.
Personally I think its silly because Beyonce can keep any man she picks and unfair because Rihanna is now staring out in the business and sometimes rumors like this can hurt a person's career.

I definitely think, that Beyone is MUCH more talented and respected than Rihanna. I personally hate Rihanna's voice. It sounds like she's singing from her nose.AND she's got lazy eyes too:)

They constantly evaluate the older technology of music vs the greater recent technology of music. that's not something new in any respect. in simple terms like they do Aaron Carter vs Justin Bieber. Or Britney Spears vs Miley Cyrus. and so on and so on and so on. 10 years down the line Rihanna is going to be while in comparison with a clean modern-day R&B singer. and the chain will in simple terms save going...and going...and going...

i am a beyonce fan so i might be kinda biased but I think that beyonce is a much more experienced music artist although she's only 25 or 26 she's been through it all yet still keeping her humbleness
