Sophie Ann
McKeeley (keeley) Anne

and I mean, he absolutely hates them and makes faces when I say that's what I want to name my kids, and it is kinda sucky, you know? It's not like they are THAT bad

I posted a question very similiar to yours the other day.
It is really hard to come to a compromise.
I sat down with my hubby the other day and just said to him to tell me what he doesn't like about the names instead of just making faces and telling me he thought they sounded gay.
He said it was becuase he didn't like names that could be shortened to have nick names he like full name that were just the childs name.
So he wrote down the ones he liked and I wrote down the ones I like and we picked one of each.. Then we decided to go with it for a couple days to see if it would grow on us. It didn't so we chose two other names.
It is the process of illimination.
We are right now trying to see if we like Nolan Avery.
Good luck.. and I hope you come up with something you are both happy with.
ps// plus there is lots of time to decided. You never know once you have the child. it may not even look like the name you even chose. :) i think it will just come to you. :)

I can kinda agree with him with the girls names because i don't really like them. But as for the boys names I love them, I have wanted to name my future son Landon for a long time.

Sophie Ann and Landon Jace are my favorite....the other ones are not cute at all. You might want to buy a baby book of names....you don't want your future kid to hate you, do you?
And your right, Cage is a horrible name....you're giving birth to a human baby.....not an animal! What are these men thinking these days.
I like Sophia for a girl and Voltaire for a boy :)

Maybe he doesn't like middle names? He sounds like he wants something simple and easy for the child. Perhaps he's just not into embellishments that would make the child stand out. Some of these names could be simplified in the spelling and perhaps he would be able to handle it. Try adjusting the spelling into something different and try the names again. Ask him if he likes the idea of middle names and maybe he'll warm up to a few of them. If not, I'm sorry. Try to compromise. (Maybe he'll like Cajun.)

You will probably have to compromise... one of you can choose the first name and the other can choose the middle name... or you can chose for one kid and he can choose the other. It would always be best to try and find a name that you both like even if its not one you absolutley love.
Of your names, i like Harper Grace. THe rest of the names are a bit wierd and Sophie ann sounds kinda old-timey. I dont really like any of the guys names..

Sophie Ann is nice.
Your boyfriend probably feels the way I do; trendy or made-up names sound silly and sometimes, I hate to say it, but low-class. The ones you chose don't sound low-class to me, but they are trendy and pretty much done to death. They will also be severely out of style by the time the kid hits kindergarten.
Classic names like Daniel, William, Elisabeth never go out of style.
Just my opinion, though. I appear to be in the minority these days.

Taegan && Harper for girls are beautiful. I would also say that Harper could possibly go for a boy. Also...Landon for a boy is a good one. Not really going for Keegan or McKeeley. =) adorable names though...&& i am going through issues naming my second child. her father likes classic names && I like somewhat unique ones. gotta compromise!

I actually like all those names...my boyfriend is the same way...I told him what I'm naming our first girl though..no questions because of its meaning. If he don't like it oh well, but the boy names he finds a problem with...either he knows or is kin to someone with that name or he just DOES NOT like it...and hes like well what about Junior, Harry, Donald, Earl, all kindsa old time ugly southern hick stupid names that I will NEVER have my kid named. I like things like Eric, Brandon, Jordan, Christopher, Jason, David
NORMAL NAMES........

They aren't bad, but each person is going to feel different about different names. You will probably have to compromise when the time comes.
good luck!
