The lie is to help them heal...but is it worth it?

It is not worth it in the long run, just let them on easy and be mature about it. Try to heal them with positives but give them the truth on the lie.

i think in this case i would lie but if i lie to help them why should they hate me?
may be they will be angry but i think they will understand what i did....

i would. especially if it would hurt them. they are already fragile enough, i dont need to put them out of their misery.
and even if they did find out, they would realize that im only trying to protect them, and that i did it for the right reasons.
