What's wrong with black :) ?

I like black too.
The reason why the color black has a negative impact on some people is because it has been assumed associated with dark cults, voodoo powers, fallen angels, and even death; like a black cat you run accross the street which is taken as a bad luck by some. But this is only some backward belief and shouldn't be taken seriously.
And since black is the absence of all colors, some people consider this unpleasant, downsided, empty. It represents the absence of joy and happiness. But not to me. Black is just another color that goes well in contrast with white color, and blends well with all other colors. Black is beautiful!

I live black if it's mixed with other colors. The only problem I have with black is when you go to the opera or some really grand event and you see a lot or women in black business suits. I hate that! I'd rather see something black and sumptuous like a black velvet dress or a shiny black taffeta shawl, or a textured black beaded evening purse. It's not the black that's depressing, it's the way some people wear it. Does that make any sense? If it's black, I want to sink my eyes into it with pleasure. I don't want to look at some prissy black real estate sales suit!

No. Actually black women are just frustrated that many black men are copping out on them for white women. Most black women prefer black men. Some are starting to expand their horizons though. Really, I don't get why more and more black men are going for white women and leaving black women. I think there may be an inferiority complex in this group.

I wear black all the time. It's all I own. My mom says that I'm not normal because I dress like I'm going to the funeral all the time. Frankly...her perception of normal is not the same as mine...I don't like prints--plaids--or whatever the **** everyone else wants to wear that's GIRLY!!! It's so funny when I do decide to wear fitting clothes...the gawking never gets old. Those girls think that underneath all those layers of black big clothes are jelly rolls...

The probably think that you're sad because they dress according to their mood. I won't let my mood judge the way I dress. I shall resist.
I shall dress according to -- according to--according to what I feel about you. HEHEHE...oh wait that's still a mood.

Absolutely nothing is wrong with black. People have favorite colors based on how those colors make them feel. Most people make assumptions on the color black of it being evil or that the person isn't nice, sad, etc. It's a personal thing and just like people have their own color that makes them feel a certain way, black just so happens to be that way for you :)

There is nothing wrong with black for anything. I have been told that people who wear black are trying to be invisible. Not me! I wear it because I like it and black looks good on me.

nothing is wrong with wearing black, that is my most favorite color. Alot of people feel if you wear black all the time, you are depressed or a gothic type of person. Nope, I just feel the most comfortable in black. It's whatever you feel like wearing. Who cares what other people think, it's your preference/style, let them deal with it.

Well at my school mostly the emo goths wear black....but wearing a little bit of black is okay i suppose....just dont over-do it. But yea black can be a color of sad/mourning people...so i usely rarely ever wear like a black shirt...i dont even own one.lol.....the only time i ever wear it is if its like an sccent color in my outfit.....so if they think you are sad becuz u wear black...then dont wear it as much...because yea if u wear it a lot you will be associated with the emo/goth scene.
