I think Christopher Lee played an awsome dracula. He looked so demonic. Check any of his vampire flicks, theyre awsome.

I have to say two of the best Dracula films (that I've seen) to watch are 'Dracula 2000' and 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'. Gary Oldman and Gerard Butler did excellent jobs at recreating the character. Even though both films depart from the book a bit, they both show the complexities of Dracula's character.

I recommend the original Dracula movie that starred Bela Lugosi because Lugosi was actually born in Transylvania in the Hungarian town of Lugos (and everyone knows that Dracula was from Transylvania !).

Bram Stoker's Dracua is a more up-to-date version.

Both movies play Moonlight Sonata in the background and that is why I like them.

My favorite isn't technically a Dracula movie.

NOSFERATU (1922) is F.W. Murnau's interpretation of Bram Stoker's story. Due to copyright issues involved Stoker's estate and his widow, Murnau wasn't allowed to use the name Dracula in his movie. That's why his vampire is called Count Graf Orlok. He kept the story of Dracula mostly intact and just scraped off the serial numbers to keep it legal.

Werner Herzog's remake of Murnau's classic, NOSFERATU: PHANTOM DER NACHT (1979) is just as enjoyable, albeit much more artistically bent.

interview with the vampire...

not about dracula exactly.. but i'm sure the easiest to watch :)

seriously, there was a show on the history channel.. or.. something where they had the 'true' story of dracula~ eh, but it was more of a documentary w/ people acting out little parts.. but it was very interesting
