All of history is filled with human migrations. The Celts in Britain were overcome by the Anglo-Saxons, who were invaded by the Normans. Modern Britain has seen an influx of people from India, Africa and the Caribbean.
The native population of North America was squeezed out (almost) by hordes of Europeans, who now feel pressure from Mexicans, Africans, Arabs and others who now want to live there.
People go where they believe life is better - less persecution, more work opportunities, better chances at an education, freer expression if they happen to be gays or females from societies that give benefits only to "straight" men. It's the old story of the other man's grass being greener.
(Have you noticed that nobody clamours to get into North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela? They all want to get into the US, Canada, Britain or western Europe. )
Yes, there are problems, and some of them do seem to be hard to solve. But don't blame individuals for wanting to improve their own lives and those of their families - it's just human nature at work.

If by using East you advise North, then sure, hordes from the "East" overwhelmed Rome. It became the Germans who overwhelmed Rome, they lived in Northern Europe. actual, it became a domino effect of folk migrating from the East (the mongols, particularly), however the folk who actual overwhelmed Rome have been northern. So, on account that Britain isn't being overwhelmed by using human beings from Scotland or the north pole, no, that hasn't now befell to large Britain.

Absolutely: London was pillaged and looted just last week by a horde that came from Dover, led by the terrifying figure of Reg the Hun. Other, lesser, Hordes are waiting in the wings in Margate and Chelmsford to pillage and loot in their turn. There is a disturbing report of a particularly nasty Horde out to the west (but we can think of them as eastern if you wish) in the area of Liverpool led by the imposing Torres the Red. Alas, all we can do is stand to attention with a stiff upper as the once mighty land of Queen Victoria (God Bless her!) slips beneath the waves of history.

Hordes of Brits are flooding France and buying houses right and left at the expense of the French population...
Or hordes of Brits are flooding Spain and overwhelming its infrastructure and services at the expense of its own population.
Doesn't sound so nice when turned around, eh? The Picts probably said that about the Celts, who said that about the Saxons, who said that about the Normans...

What you are taught may not actually be correct, so until and unless we come to a definitive conclusion about the Fall of Rome and whether or not it truly fell or just changed, your speculation on whether or not it has now or is currently happening to Great Britain is irrelevant.

Yes; I think Great Britain will sink under the weight of people soon. That is if enough of the over 50's don't leave for Spain quickly enough.

I think you'll find most of them are doing jobs the idle Brits don't want to do.
Some of them may even be able to use hordes instead of hoards.
