The Linksys is 802.11G which means up to 54mbps, while the Belking F5D6050 is an 802.11B device, or 11mbps max speed.

The Linksys is faster by about 5x.

That speed difference won't matter in most cases, since consumer Internet connections are much slower than the maximum of either one. If you've got 3mb DSL or cable, that's well below the maximum speed of both, But for copying files around your local network, the Linksys will be faster. It should also support better encryption like WPA.

I would go with linksys, more reliable than belkin, have had problems with belkin wireless devices in the past. As far as speed the linksys is faster as well. The belkin is 802.11b with is max 11mbps. The linksys is 802.11g 54mbps.

i suggest using a Netgear wireless router rather then Linksys. Netgear is usually more reliable and last longer.
