I haven't seen anything more on the Utah miners. Have been away and was unable to connect to internet. Did they find them alive?

You have missed alot then.
3 rescue workers were killed in a second cave in, while trying to reach the miners. After that they decided that its too dangerous to go further, and that chances are they more than likely are dead already so they called off the rescue.
They still are digging small holes from the top to drop cameras down to search for evidence of life - but its over. There is no way those guys could still be alive.

The mine owner and MSHA have agreed that going back into the mine is unsafe for any further rescue of the 6 miners underground. There is a larger drill rig on the way in case they find a sign of life they might be able to access the mine via a rescue cage.

May God Bless,

No, a rescue attempt last week killed 3 rescue workers and the search has been called off indefinitely. There's been growing outrage from the families, but experts seem to be of like minds that any rescue attempts would be ill-advised given the structural instability of the mine.

No, last Thursday (I think) six rescuers were injured and three were killed while they were digging the fourth hole. Now there is much controversy as to whether or not the rescue should be discontinued. What a horrible situation.

Unforunatly no they haven't. In fact, the families of the trapped minors are criticizing the mine owner right now for giving up. Right now a fifth hole is being drilled to look for them
