Taken from Yahoo! Sports:
"The announced crowd of 44,249 was the Angels' 28th sellout and included a huge contingent of Yankee fans."

A lot of the fans at the game were Yankees fans so they were the ones that were cheering.

It's always been that way in Anaheim. It seems that about half the people living here are from somwhere else, so you can expect a good amount of cheering for just about any opposing team that comes here. But Yankee and Bosox fans are the most vocal.

Funny thing is, I love to go to Red Sox/Angels games, not only because the games are great, but because the Yankee fans come out to torment the Sox fans. Good stuff...good times. Fun to watch.

I live in Seattle and the Yankees get cheered here as well. So do the Red Sox. They are old franchises with alot of history and fans all over the U.S.
