The current batch of scouts for the professional Wiffle Ball franchises are looking more for flash than substance.
It's sad, but, unfortunately true.
My advice is to jazz up your uniform to stand out from the others on the field. Start wearing a long, bright, silk scarf when you are at bat. If you let the ends fall down your back, it won't get in the way of your swing, and you should look really good running the bases.
Get a pair of flashy, glittery sunglasses. The bigger the better, kind of like Elton John wears. Don't go cheap on these. You still need good optics when facing a skilled pitcher.
Speaking of pitchers, attach a bunch of small mirrors to your shoes. The sun, reflecting off of them should distract the pitcher from his game.
Polka dot socks are the sure sign of Wiffle Ball Hall of Fame potential. Be sure to have a good selection of colors and patterns. Never let an opponent get a fix on what you will be wearing. The pros take several pair into the dugout and change for every at bat.
Keep EVERYBODY guessing. If every one else is wearing pants, YOU wear shorts. If everyone else is wearing shorts, YOU wear skimpier shorts. Put your pants on backwards, your hat on sideways and inside out. Don't chew gum. Chew bicycle inner tubes. Sing the National Anthem in ancient Greek. This is a psychological game as much as it is a sport.
Dont let the opposing players get inside your head. Make the afraid to!

Start practicing some pitching skills....that is where you can have a blast with those sweeping curve balls.
