There are only few days in the cycle/month that you can get pregnant and that is when you're ovulating (releasing the egg). Do you know when you ovulate? Have you tried ovulation predictor kits? Every woman is different and although the web and even the doctors say that you ovulate on day 14th, it's not always true. Some ladies ovulate on day 10 or even day 22. You start counting from the day you start your period (day 1). This cycle stops when you start your next period (day 1 again with your new period). Sperm can live inside your body anywhere from 3-5 days depending on cervical fluid (your wetness inside of you ---sorry for too much information). Make sure you're not using KY Jelly, Astroglide, Saliva or other lubricants because believe it or not, this kills the sperm. You may want to try out "preseed" which can be purchased and read more about at www.preseed.com. This type of lubricant is inserted inside your vagina about 15 minutes before sex. It doesn't kill the sperm and it's affordable too. It's helped a lot of women get pregnant but then again, as long as you/partner are healthy.
I would highly suggest purchasing the ClearBlue Easy Digital Ovulation Kit which can be bought at Target for $30 instead of $40 which is at most retail shops. This Digital kit has 7 tests which you pee on every morning (preferrably in the afternoon time) and if you're about to ovulate 12-36 hours, it will show you a digital smiley face. If you're not about to ovulate, then it will just show you a circle. The test detects LH Surge which is a hormone that is at it's top peak when you're about to ovulate (release the egg). Once you see that smiley face, you should have sex within 12-36 hours. Sperm can stay in your body anywhere from 3-5 days. Obviously this depends on both partners' health also. The reason I would suggest this digital test rather than other tests in the market is because the other aren't digital. You have to kind of guess yourself by looking at pink lines...if you're okay with that, then you can purchase the First Response Ovulation Kit or ANSWER brand. It's cheaper and has more tests (20 tests) but it's not digital.
Check out the Clearblue Easy Digital OPK:

Also, I've read that before you have sex, it's good for the male to drink coffee about 15 min because the sperm are more "jumpy" and can get to the egg faster...especially the y-sperm (boy sperm).
Good Luck and baby dust to you!

If your periods are regular then chances are you are ovulating.
However, it wouldn't hurt to check and see anyway. Here's how:
Get a basal body thermometer--$5-7 at wal-mart.
Every morning, at the exact same time, take your temp.
Take it before getting out of bed, eating, drinking, etc. And make sure you have gotten at least 3 hours sleep beforehand.
Start doing this on the first day of your period--this is cycle day 1.
Record your temp each morning. Go here--www.fertilityfriend.com and register for a free account--it's really all you need. Enter your temp each day and it will tell you when and if you ovulate.
Also, pick up the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

To check your ovulation, you can start recording your Basal Bodt Temp (BBT). Or oyu could ourchase the ovulation kits that help determine the ovulation time precisely.
Don't be disheartened, it usually takes about an year for normal fertile couples to concieve.
Good Luck!

http://www.babycenter.com/ovulation-calculator
it takes the average couple 6-12 months to get pregnant.
you can try having sex everyday for a month if you would like to make sure you do not miss your fertile period, that's what i did in my second month of TTC and got pregnant.

Well you think about the person all the time. Every time you see him you feel tickles in your stomach. You get very nervous around him. You want to do anything to keep him happy and you feel like your in the clouds. Of course don't be fooled by a crush they have almost the same symptoms but you'll know when it's love. It's a deep, strong feeling that you can't get rid of.

you can buy ovulation test which will tell you when your ovulating and if it is really important yu can buy a wrist watch that keeps track of your ovulation and tells you good time. Have you tried proping your but up in the air for about 10 min after he is done.
