My favorite trick when I was assisting my father was the one where I stood in the middle of the stage and he stood at one side and shot a bullet into a playing card directly behind me.
We performed this one at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, in the early 1960's.

Old presidents on new bills with fantastic face lifts. I saw the Siegfried and Roy show in Vegas and that is amazing--watching an elephant disappear, levitation, a man go in one cage and a leopard in another and suddenly the cages are reversed. Some of the things that Chriss Angel does are unreal, his walking on water left my mouth hanging open.
