I don't know how you planted them. You are suppose to just cut off the eyes and plant them. And, I'm sure you know that the potatoes are part of the root system? They are in the ground, not on the vine!

You did check under ground right? That's where they grow. And you know your not supposed to use a whole potato, but only a piece of one?

Potatoes like being "mounded" up, keep throwing more dirt on covering half of the foliage. Result is more potatoes underground as mentioned. Yummy, good luck

Maybe it was a male? I have heard of that with Peach trees & such....
But make sure to look deep under the soil... that is where the potatoes would grow.

Perhaps it had something to do with the supermarket potatoe being in a cold enviroment before it got to you.

you do know you have to dig down to get to the potatoes? they dont grow like fruit....
think they take abit longer than 3 months too.....
