any player who is really good but doesn't play for the Yankees or Red Sox!!

I would say Fausto Carmona and C.C. Sabathia over Blake, especially Fausto Carmona.

(even though C.C. & Fausto aren't listed)

Well, considering Fielder, Reyes, Griffey and Biggio have already gotten their props(all All-Stars), therefore disqualifying them for "underrated" status......I would have to say Casey Blake by default.

Casey Blake isn't that good of a player. How did he get grouped with those other players on your list?

Casey Blake-Cle a great example of an underated player
Craig Biggio-Hou hard to say a 3,000 hit player is underrated
Prince Fielder-Mil getting allot of pub this year
Jose Reyes-Nym top notch player
Ken Griffey Jr.-Cin hard to say a 500 homer player is underrated

Craig Biggio. He's going to be a first ballot HoFer and rarely gets mentioned as one of the best in the game (except by guys like Bill James who rated him the best player in all of baseball for several seasons).

Blake, Fielder, Reyes haven't been around long enough to establish reputations.

Griffey was recognized as one of the 50 best players in the history of baseball, so you can't say he was underrated.

of those players only Casey Blake and Craig Biggio are underrated. and out of Casey and Craig i would say Casey is more underrated. but truly the most underrated player in baseball is probably Jason Bay of the Pirates. or Jimmy Rollins. Jimmy Rollins really deserves a gold glove.

Casey Blake

i live in cleveland and watch and am at many games. Blake alwasy seems to come through in the clutch and i usaully hot when the team need a boost. yet this year has been a down year for him he still has produced more than hafner

but if this open to all players i would have to say hanley ramirez
heard of him...i doubt it
then look at his stats...the complete package

from the list? well I wouldn't say any of them are..certainly not blake. biggio has been good all his career..not great..just good..and consistant.

you should add hanely rameriz to that list. he SHOULD be NL mvp..but won't get it because he's not on a contending team.

or even better add Tim hudson. he's probably the best pitcher in the NL. consistant from the start of the season.
