I often wonder what would happen if everyone on the earth belonged to one system of government, and we only had one standard currency system, one healthcare system, one communication system, and we did away with all borders and everyone on the planet could live where he or she chooses without worrying about immigration rules and regulations.

have to say civil war is the best possible answer, ever watch the Matrix? I don't think humans can actually live in a Utopia. We seem to strive of hardship, do you think a news show would get good ratings if it only aired good stories about puppies and warm weather. I think if the government actually worked like the way we try to make it, something would go horribly wrong at the hands of those in charge or those under it.
