Engaged to her, been together almost 7 yrs.

We didn't necessarily go to high school together but were together since I was 16 years old. We were married for 10 years, together for 16 years. We divorced a year ago, about 5 years too late if you ask me. We drifted apart and no longer could relate to each, enjoy spending time with each and our sex life diminished entirely. All that time spent for what?
At 16, you should not be steady with one person. I wish I had all those years back to re-live.

Not my highschool sweetheart but did marry the man I met while in training with the military.

Not me - and thank god. At least 1/2 of the people I know that married there hs sweetheart regreated it and are divorced. They were too young and didnt' take the time to see what else is out there.

I married my high school sweetheart ,the marriage lasted 5 years ,because we were so young and immature at that time.

Well we arent married but we are living together. Dated in high school, broke up, didnt see each other for 19 years and found each other a year ago. Very happy and very much in love.

We did'nt go to high school together but i married the man i have been with since i was of high school age (16). We have been together 8 years now

i did,we dated for 7 years before we got married and we are married for 5 years thats a total of 12 years together and now he tells me it was a big mistake.

I did....we travelled the globe and stayed married for 12 years (had one daughter, now grown); divorced, but remain very close friends to this day.
