Now the richest person in the world is Carlos Slim, a Mexican tycoon worth an estimated $67.8 billion (Bill Gates is worth about $56 billion). you might not believe it but i saw it in tv last week it was a Mexican telecoms magnate. dont know his name. according to Forbes its still Bill Gates but he has definately been overtaken
