Well do they..
For starters and no offence meant here.
Women say that they work harder than men well I got news for you girls you dont.
You all got equal rights correct.
But how equal..?
You dont see too many girls goin down a coal mine or too many girls cleaning out the sewers or diggin holes on roads.
You complain about the ironing,,looking after the kids all day..I wish I could do that.
I was in a job makin lorry tyres all day.
remember once I done double shifts for the extra money. 16 hours a day for 4 weeks in a trot. the sweat lashing off me . ever try making and lifting a lorry tyre let alone about 200 a day.
So please stop gerning about housework please.

All human beings deserve equal rights simply because they are human.
Any attempt to impose some sort of standard which people need to reach in order to qualify for equal rights is a monstrous misuse of power.

Did women have equal rights in your lorry tyre makin' factory? Were they treated as equals there or was it a man's world where you could blow off steam with the guys? I'm sure you could do your share of complaining about the ladies when you were there so why shouldn't they get to ***** about the ironing if they want?
All of the examples of hard work that you have used are psychically demanding jobs so of course you are going to see a higher percentage of men in these jobs than women. It's fair to say that men are often physically stronger than women but that doesn't mean that we are not all equal.

I'm not complaining honestly I do agree that men take all of the unpleasent jobs such as slaughterhouse, waste industries and the dangerous ones...
However raising children is also a job that requires two parents it is unfair for the father to only work at work while the woman does a double shift! I'd like a balance. I wish that my Dad were around alot more quality time is more important than money in the long run.
If you don't like your job cant you get another one?

With the average pay for women being 75 cents per dollar a man makes for the same job.
Not many women can or will work in a coal mine or sewers. We are not as PHYSICALLY strong as men. But many women not all have to work twice as hard to get noticed in certain jobs.
If you want we could trade jobs. I work full time with overtime, attend college full time and I am also 7 1/2 months pregnant. My hope of maternity leave is not there. I have to work. As does the father of my baby.
Not all women out there are complaining. But give those out there that do work their equal pay.

how bout you stop blaming women for the choice you made to take a blue collar job? the fact of it is, more women choose to go to college and graduate. aside from that, it's not as easy as you may think for a woman to get hired into a labor union profession.
let's take it a step further- you say a 16hour work day? and the woman you're referring to-
work 8-12hrs
cook for your whining, ungrateful mouth - 1-3hrs
your laundry - 3-5hrs per week (oh wait, maybe a lot more since you sweat so much in those coal mines all day)
kids homework- 1-5hrs
raising your children while you work your long shifts- priceless
don't forget that while you're slaving away at one job, the woman you're referring to have their own, plus another one once they walk in their home. get it straight, we're not whining about the housework, so much as the fact that we do that ALL on top of a regular job. and our home jobs don't stop on the weekend.
and let's not forget the icing on the cake, that women still bring home LESS MONEY FOR THE SAME WORK.
good luck finding your miss right...

I believe in equal pay for equal work. There's alot of emotional strain to raising kids and keeping a home. Don't underestimate the stresses of a stay-at-home mom; plus all the people that say her job is unimportant. No wonder women want to get a REAL job. But then who will nurture our next generation? Respect your woman and tell her you appreciate her more often and maybe she'll be more content with keeping your clothes clean and picking up your messes.

Depends what you mean by work. Real hard physical labour perhaps not, but believe me, some days doing nothing but house and kids stuff is wearing, depressing and damn hard work mentally and emotionally. Before i met my partner i was bringing up 4 boys. I would rather work hard bloody labour than put up with all that bullshit again. He takes over a lot of the tasks in this house and sometimes i can see him boiling up to breaking point. So ask HIM if women deserve equal rights.

I don't agree that women tennis players should win the same prize money as the men at Wimbledon yet still only have to play 3 sets.
On our BBC news they followed a couple and discovered they did exactly the same amount of work. Women multi task but men are more thorough.

years ago women didnt have a choice of what to do they were made to stay at home wash cook etc, its only in the later years that women are getting there right back as you find more women are doing mnual work, mechanics, engineers etc, why dont you stay at home clean the house watch the kids do the washing and ironing, cook, do the shopping, manage and pay the bills, getting lunchs ready for school, make sure homework is done, kids bathed and ready for bed, let alone getting the partner or husbands ready!!
who agrees ladies???

Some men work harder than some women and some women work harder than some men. Most guys do some very hard physical work but you also get some women working very hard in thier job and doing house work as well. Both kinda jobs very tiring for men and women. Both men and women deserve equals rights as we are all human beings.
