I would like to be a druid that starts out a combat druid that uses his animal forms but then after I reach level 60 or 70 (depends if I get expansion) I would like to become a healing druid. Will I be able to reset my talent points? I don't understand the warning they give you when u ask if you want to reset your talent point, is it that when you reset them you get 0 and you have to level up from the level that you are at that time to get more or do you have all the points but not in a talent?

(didnt make the druid yet)

As others have answered, yes, you can reset your talent points at your trainer. It starts at 1g then increases each time you do it. There is a cap on the cost (I want to say 10g, but that sounds inexpensive to me), so you can do it as much as you want but will be paying for it. They reset to 0 and you get all the points refunded that you've gotten thus far so you can put them back wherever you want them.

Definitely as a druid, you'll want to start out as feral; it's much easier to solo level that way. You'll be an okay healer in dungeons until you turn 60, at which point you may want to focus solely on restoration. If you play with someone, you might want to spec resto right off; I have a shaman that is completely resto and has been since she started getting talent points because I always party with a hunter and always serve as the healer on guild runs.

Your trainer will be able to reset your talent points for a nominal fee. It gets more expensive the more often you do it, but as long as you plan things out - and it sounds like you have - you should be fine.

It won't reset any of the normal class skills - you won't lose any ranks of Healing Touch, for example. You will lose the skills for talent-specific abilities, such as Mangle, since you'll no longer have the talent. You won't lose anything else other than those.

Something you might want to look at is a feral/resto hybrid. I've got a 0/41/20 build at level 70, so I can tank, dps, and heal all fairly well, and know another druid doing a 0/30/31 build. It's not as strong a healer, but still pretty effective, and maintains enough feral ability to solo fairly well. Though, even if you sink most of the points into restoration, you can still build a good gearset for feral use, it'll just take a little bit more effort.

You reset talent points by paying a fee to a trainer to release 1 point back into your talent pool. The fee starts at 1 gold and goes up every time you pay to release a point. Over a period of time without releasing talents this fee starts dropping again.

You don't have to re-earn your points, just reassign them. I think it is impossible to release a talent point that invalidades another talents prerequsite though.

yes u can reset the points but it cost 1 gold the first time and gets more expensive each time. So yes u can and if u arent planning on switching talents too much then no worries. I kno people who switch every couple of days.

yes you're able to reset your talent points for a small fee (5g at first, gets bigger if you do it a lot). it's very common for people to have a leveling build and then an end game build for their characters, or to just want to change things up for a while

you may pass to any priest coach and pay a cost to alter your abilities. what i might propose is going tot he WoW substantial website and utilising a skills calculator there to choose the suitable spec for you.
