Get virgin white powder (can get it at Hottopic)... LIne your eyes with black eyeliner and smudge it and get a reddish brown color and apply it to you top lids and your bottoms. Get a grayish purple or a really pale purple lipstick and apply to your lips.

Try wearing super-thick (I mean one-inch thick, thick) blackest black eyeliner all around your eye. Try a shadow stick or eyeliner/shadow gel pot. Those will work the best. Find the cheapest foundation (quality and price) and make sure it is three or four, maybe even more, shades light than your skin tone. Then apply an even lighter powder over top. Then wear white lip stick. That would look cool for Halloween or a party or something. Good luck!

Take white face paint and mix a slight amount of black in it. You want the white to turn to a less stark of a white. Cover your face, neck and hands with it. Take a gray face paint and apply under your eyes, under cheekbones and under your chin. Get some cheep red eyeliner from the drugstore and apply to lower and upper lid.

My brother and his wife used these methods to look like a dead couple and won first place for the most realistic and tasteless costume.

Very pale...blue or greenish makeup...black around the eyes...(for that SUNK IN look!)...whatever clothes you decide to wear...(or costume) roll them in dirt and mud...(for that just "dug up" look!)...decide how you "died"...and when...natural causes? An accident? What period of time?
I went as a dead bride last year on Halloween (I'm 48 years old and it is STILL my fav. holiday!)....my "wedding dress" was made with a sheet and come old lace, then ripped and torn and stained with tea...as was my "veil" (a piece of lace stained with tea..and bobby-pinned to my hair)..I had a "toe tag" (Like they use in morgue) and carried a bouquet of dead flowers...
My make-up was pale and ghostly......it was my easiest costume yet...

To look dead, I would try...

~ reaaaalllly pale foundation/powder
~ black eyeliner under your eye only
~ silver/gray metallic eyeshadow under your eye
~ pale eyeshadow on your eyelid
~ pale lips

That should do the trick! Don't use any bright or sparkly colors (white, pink, yellow, etc.). If all else fails, just think of how you look when you don't get any sleep (the bags under the eyes, pale skin...). Good luck!

umm put on like a really pale powder or foundation so your skin looks white, and then use dark shadows above and below the eyes, and like a blueish tinted lipstick. don't know where you're going to find that, but it'll make you look dead!

To look dead:

*Pale foundation
*Bandages (tie fully over your your body except face and legs)
*Dark blue Eyeshadow to put under the eye and over it.
*Dark blue lipstick.
*some flowers kept inside the hand
*White costume

get really light foundation, and make sure you put it on ur lips too, then apply lots and lots of eyeliner smudge it though that way you look dead not perfect =P And put alot of mouse in ur hair and tease it

Really light foundation(use powder loose/compact) and LOTS & LOTS of black eyeliner. Use black & grey eye shadow as well!
