My boss has been with the company only 3-4 years. Some other people thought about flowers but my thought on that is it's tacky. Flowers are something you'd give for "Boss's Day" or "Birthday". We are definitely doing a cake but I need ideas for a gift. Please help!

I would have lunch catered in from any local restaurant maybe even one he most frequents (since he won't be in the area anymore). He will get to mingle casually with his soon to be former co-workers. You're right not flowers but maybe a gift card to Sharper Image or Nordstrom even Movie Tickets, Gas Card.

flowers cake box of chocolates a new bike a new job offer (like a new place to go work for example diamond air) if he has kids a few gifts for his kids a war book or something (for boss) a box of tools a few thank you cards a few good luck cards a new phone silver clock gold clock £100 suit a new wallet a dress for his wife (just some suggestions) a ring that says BOSS on in capital letters movie tickets pay for him and his wifes and kids to go to one of the best resturants you know of or there favourite resturant
