Dilla makes beats that are different. i mean it's innovative and usually has that "laid back" type of feel. he has some of the greatest beats that MAKES the song. even if the lyrics are whack the beat is just classic. but Primo...man primo's beats are mad crazy. real hardcore and he's made records for some of the greatest hip hop songs ever....they both make timeless records. forever ledgends. i can't choose....but i will Dilla and Common. man i just love jay dee beats. id like to see Primo and Common collab more though.

Haha well i am just gonna throw this out.. DILLA AND COMMON man geez that would be such a good match to watch though... haha yeah dilla and common are a good team they will pretty much own primo and nas

I would have to choose Primo & Nas, although you can't lose either way. The reason I choose them is because the song 2nd Childhood is definitly one of my favorite songs of all time. Good question dude, I guess I'll even give you a star. lol

Premier and Nas. Dilla might be an innovator, but Premier was the innovator. Premier trumps any producer not named Dr. Dre easily. Nas and Common cancel out, COmmon has more consistency, but Nas has better high points.

Yeah this definately is a star worthy question no doubt.
I would have to go with NAS & PREMO. PREMO makes the craziest beats I love them, and lyrically NAS is just ill especially on PREMO tracks. Two legends. I guess it all lies with what your really into or who you like most. I love COMMON & DILLA together. COMMON is from my hometown CHI-TOWN but if I had to choose it's PREMO & NAS.

the two producers have different styles so it depends on what sound you like more. I'd like to hear some nas and dilla.
