Saw a special on TV last night, history channel, all the 9/11 myths totally trashed. After that anyone who believes any of them should be locked up in a rubber room or forced to wear a sign around their necks "I'm retarded"

I'm always amazed at how 'naysayers' seldom use facts or reliable information to combat their opponents; all they seem to be able to do is throw insults or mean-spirited barbs at those who are simply trying to present another viewpoint.
I'm just as annoyed by the 'die hard conspiracy theorists' who point to specific details to make their points without examining the overall picture.
I wish I could have seen the recent documentary on the History (?) Channel, which many people believe debunks the debunkers. At the same time, I also see some valid points in the loosechange and zeitgeistmovie.coms
It's important for Americans to be objective, and look at issues with a certain amount of skepticism, doubt, and healthy questioning. Only by researching both side of an issue can we come to rational, unbiased conclusions.
And once we simply 'accept' whatever our government tells us to believe, we are dangerously close to living in a totalitarian society where we are told what to say, what to believe and how to act.
The government has lied to its people countless times before in the past fifty years. We have a Constitutional right - and obligation - to at least give every opinion and perspective the benefit of the doubt, especially since the Fourth Estate no longer takes its role as watchdog seriously. -RKO- 08/21/07
