Actually, Monster Park is VERY close to the airport. SFO airport is actually in South San Francisco (a different city from San Francisco) and Monster Park is in the southern part of San Francisco - so it is actually very close to the airport. In light traffic it should take you less than 10 mins to get to the airport by driving. In heavy traffic, 15-20 mins.
You can also take Muni to BART from Monster Park which will take about 20-30mins depending on wait times at the bus stop and BART trains (the subway).
