This is my first month to take the pill. I had unprotected sex and missed a pill the same day. I'm just wondering if I should worry about pregnancy or not.

It depends on the pill and the day you started, normally is you take it the very first day of your priod, you´re protected from that day. But different pills work differently so you should ask your doc.
Anyway it is very rare to get prego during pill, as it is dose of hormones in your body an it is tricked it´s prego.
It is not common, when you levae the ill you may have 3 months or more to recover your fertility. It is unlike but possible, don´t stress.

from the differnt pills i've taken the doctor always tell me the same thing, during the first month or pack of pills you need to use back up protection because the pill won't start completely working till then

It takes a month to kick in. I would take a pregnancy test and proceed from there. The sooner you know, the more options you have.

Take a pregnancy test.
Even when taking it as directed you have a chance of becoming pregnant.
NO contraceptive is 100%, and its even less when not taken correctly.

yup=if anything, you're probably already preggo. doctors reccomend you wait at the very least i full month before you can depend on your birth control to work proporly and to adjust your body to the pills.....
get a preggo test asap!

I've heard that it takes two weeks.
