Ok so I just bought this watch off of ebay and I was wondering who delivers the watch to me, is it the mailman or what? And also I was wondering what happens if no one is home when the person delivers my watch will they just put it on my front porch or will they comeback another time? Also how long does Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service take?

i think its delivered via package or sumthing like that.. i think ull hav to sign some papers (ur signature for receiving) x_x and if there no one home.. i thnk its up to the "delivery man" if hell just trust ur delivery to someone.. but with regards the expensive material u have bought.. i think they'll mail u up / call u up if u hav provided them sufficient contact information besides ur email add and home address.. i doubt that they'll leave ur order since its expensive! x_x and they'll be dumb enough to leave it on rthe floooooooorrr..... ^^

If they used Priority mail for Standard Flat Rate Shipping, it should only take 2 -3 days... from when they mailed it. Most eBayers will let you know when it's on the way, and it's not uncommon for their policy to take a couple of business days to ship.

It also depends on your mailman, or if the sender required a signature. My mailman actually rings my doorbell, otherwise he leaves my packages on my doorstep. But depending on the neighborhood, they may leave you a notice for attempted delivery with the date of their next attempt unless you want to pick it up at the post office (which you would indicate on the notice).

It depends on the mail service the seller is using. Some people use USPS, others UPS or DHL. The USPS will deliver the package to your door if it is too big to fit in the mailbox. UPS or DHL will depend on the service level of shipping service. Some will leave it at the door, others will leave a note and you will have to pick it up at the nearest UPS/DHL shipping facility.

If it was standard flat rate shipping then your seller uses the USPS..(sellers choose their own carrier)...It depends on the mailperson..some will leave something some wont..a watch may fit in your mailbox, if they choose not to leave it you will get a yellow notice card saying you have a package at the post office or when they will attempt to redeliver it..Flat rate shipping time depends on distance from seller to buyer..you can assume 3-4 days if its coast to coast or 2-3 days if closer.

Yeah, I hate it when the seller doesn't replace "standard flat rate" (the default setting) with the method of shipping he's using, like first class, priority, etc. Just either read the auction terms again to see if it's specified somewhere, or email the seller and ask.

Good luck!

If the box is small enough, If you are not there the postman will most likely put it in your mail box. If it is delivered via UPS or other Delivery Service, the delivery man will most likely put it in the door (between the screen door and the inside door.)

If a signature is required, the item will usually NOT be left, but a notice of attempt is left and you can call for redelivery.
