Of course it would probably depend on the width of the hole... but would the earth crumble? Oceans evaporate? What?

If no one can make it to the center of the earth how do we know for sure there's molten lava there? What is the evidence? Could it be a frozen solid?

Also, you don't have to use the drill one way all the way. You can go half one on one side then the other half from the other side.

You could climb through the hole and walk all the way to China.

You'd drill through the crust tillyou hit the magma part, this would spout out like when the strike oil shooting molten rock into the air like a volcano, over time it would self seal (this depends on the size of the hole, smaller the hole quicker it would seal) if you did manage to break through the opposite side of the earths crust it would do just the same that side too, again till it self sealed. There are some other factors to take into account, the strength of the surrounding area, ie if you drill on a 'fault line' you may trigger an earthquake or bigger volcano, but very very doubtfull if the earth would 'cave in' on itself unless the hole was a very large diameter (like miles and miles wide)

I think if the drill went through the earth and it was big enough to drill it would be destroyed by the time it reached the core. This is because near the core there is so much pressure that it would destroy the drill. And the heat from the core is so hot it would destroy the machine. and if you drilled through the ocean the water would be sucked down like a drain but the water would probably destroy the drill. Thats my theory.

You wouldn't get further than the center of the Earth, where the molten magma would destroy anything drilling to it. The pressure released from the drilling (depending on the size of the hole) would probably destroy the planet.

First , if you drilled it under the sea, the all the oceans would drain into it.
2nd, because of the great heat in the earth's interior, all the water going into it would turn to steam (water vapor) and then escape out into the earth's atmosphere ...and the earth would be completely enshrouded with a water vapor canopy....like a thick fog...covering the entire earth.

Not a pretty picture....so please stop drilling NOW.

nothing will happen, only the lava and the liquid with the temp of 1000 and more d c will come out and all the earth will be converted into a soil which will be very rich.

All the air would escape and we'd go fly off into space, uncontrollably, like a balloon!

Well the drill would burn up after it gets into the mantel, so that's impossible.
