Our fridge is leaking water. We have an ice maker inside and we think water is coming from there and it is ending up in the refrigerater part. Because the last couple of days we have had to clean up water out of the vegetable crisp. Do you know what might be wrong? How much it would cost to replace whatever it is? Anything would be so much appreciated! thankyou

Is possible the seal on the fridge door has gone bad. The fridge is drawing in humidity and is condensing it. If the walls of the fridge are damp, then the seal is probably the problem.

Easiest way to tell if it's the icemaker is to empty all the ice out of the bin, and turn off the water leading to the fridge. You don't need to throw it the ice - just bag it. The icemaker will make one or two batches more, then stop because it doesn't fill. If you stop getting water in the crisper drawer, you know your diagnosis is right.

Icemakers cost about $100.

Sight-unseen, I'd have to recommend replacement; repairs often don't *stay* repaired.

sounds like maybe a seal broke loose but have a tech from a reputable company come check it . a usual service charge is around 20 -25 dollars and then cost of parts and labor depending upon what it is . good luck .
