Houston is a great place to live, come on down! The weather is actually unbearably hot only 3 months out of the year, and the rest of the year we have moderate temperatures. Air conditioning is everywhere. We have more than 6,000 restaurants with way over 200 different types of cuisines. The housing is inexpensive and you get so much more for your money than in a lot of other cities. We have our sports teams, opera, symphony, universities, the beach, over 20 museums, actually yesterday was museum day and you could visit any or all 14 museums in the museum district (a beautiful area) for free. We have our zoo, NASA, Kemah Boardwalk, Old Town Spring, many, many, many shopping malls and centres and town parks for shopping. We have Lake Conroe and Lake Houston and the Clear Lake area. Houston is a huge city. The metropolitan area covers more than 600 square miles. The road are good, but traffic can be bad (but not as bad as in LA). So, live close to where you plan to work. Crime is much less than in most other cities, just use common sense and with God's favor you'll be fine. Welcome to Houston.

Houston is allot better then los angelas. HERE los angelas for u, its okay and great weather, good jobs great shopping places. huge malls good beaches tons of stuff to do there, and just so much to do there, great nightlife, though LA is great i hate the TV> LA like off of sunset tan that fake LA though there are allot of people like that, like those dumb sisters, any how, Los angelas Poor side like real LA is tight.
