It is irrational. To be considered rational the number has to either repeat or terminate. It seems like the numbers are following a pattern, but they have to repeat like .4569333222333222333222... or something

It is irrational, because it does not repeat (that is to say it does not equal any finite fraction). The fact that it is composed of a very simple series doesn't change the fact that it does not repeat and must be irrational.

It's irrational. The digits of the decimal do not terminate, since the digits are continuing on and on, infinitely. The digits of the decimal do not repeat, since they are not going in a repeating sequence i.e. 0.1212121212 ...
So, it's irrational.
