Chevy all the way for all of 'em. It's about time someone other than me realizes that. Ford thinks theyr'e cool. What about when the Camaro comes out? They ain't ready for it.

just another example of why ford is better. most ford fans have factual references to support there arguments like ford out sells chevy-FACT- and ford is ranked higher in overall reliabillity and repair history then chevy-FACT- while most chevy fans just make intelligent comments like "chevy owns all and anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid" but never seem to be able to come up with any factual info on why chevy is better then ford. If there are two companies that compete against each other and one company sells more products and there products are also more reliable then no matter what else is said, that company is ahead. There is not a publication on the web or in print that rates chevy's overall reliabilltiy and repair history ahead of fords. There is not a publication in existance that shows chevy out selling ford. So by useing facts, ford makes better vehicals and sells more of them.
P.S. the first statement made by the question asker was backed up by another one of equal intelligence. "everyone knows this because chevys are easier to work on" "everyone" huh, havent you ever taken a debate class. What is the golden rule of debate, never use the words "everyone" or "all the time", the use of these words show that you are being dishonest in at attempt to prove your point because obviously not "everyone" knows chevys are easier to work on.

In response to mike k. yea ford might sell more only because they wear out quicker, chevy uses the higher quality parts on their vehicles making them more durable and reliable, gmc and chevy are practically the same so the fact coming from this is that they sell more of the same truck than ford does, switch the gmc sierra to a chevy silverado (which it is but with a different name) and their sells double fords. Fords cant produce the torque that chevys do. Look back in time, why do you see more chevys on the road now than fords, everytime you go to a car show you see tons of camaros, corvettes, bel-airs, yet you hardly see any fords...whys that? because no one cares about them, how come you never see any old mustangs adn how come they aint worth much? because ford made to many cars at too quick a rate and blew it. Look back why are you seeing bel airs selling in the 30 and 40 K range? camaros in the 30-150K range? corvettes in the 25k-1000000 range? because they're good cars that everyone loves, ford may have been around longer but chevy is doing better. Everyone knows that teh silverado looks a ton better than the f 150. CHEVY is king, it always has been and always will be.

Well, if they were that much better, Ford would have been out of business a long time ago.
They are all good or they would be gone.
That being said I htink General Motors products are a bit better than Ford but not by a lot.
Actually I think anyone that makes a statement like everyone else is stupid ....... well, you know. LOL

Hard to beat a 66 GTO. What about the 427 SOHC ? That will whoop on a 454 any day. It made 616bhp @ 7500 with one carb or 658 bhp @ 7500 with two carbs.

Whatever.... Coke is better n pepsi, or is it the other way around. Chevy kept building the exact same power plants for decades making parts readily available. All that says is no development took place.
How is it that Ford Motor Company (lincoln, mercury, ford)
Outsells GM (Buick, Pontiac, Olds, Chevy, GMC, Hummer, Saturn) every year?
My opinion is one is as good as the other, they have both made great cars and both have made junk.
My personal car history...
1973 Firebird 125K miles electrical system meltdown.
1974 Ford Pinto - Crap
1975 Toyota Celica - 325K miles still going sold.
1974 Toyota Pick-up 350K miles still driving it.
1984 Chevy Celebrity - junk Tranny failure at 60K miles, fuel injection failure at 75K miles
1991 Ford Escort GT- 200K miles sold, absolutely no problems other than belts and hoses. Sold
1985 Ford F150 4X4 Still driving 210K miles Transmission rebuild at 150K miles
1995 S-10 4X4 138K miles no problems other than belts and hoses. Still driving, uses oil.
2001 Ford Explorer 171K miles no problems at all none- zilch
Brand new GMC 2500 diesel four door 4X4 - 15K miles. Computer chip failure at 10K miles, Turbo charger shredded itself at 12K miles Air condition not cold. Filing for lemon law full reimbursement this week.

i totaly agree with jake, my stepdad has a 2004 ugly F-150 and he has been to the dealer a lot of times because it keeps going through clutches. and i have a 1998 chevy suburban with a good old 350 vortec and i really beat on it like run it bone dry on oil a lot and only chenge it every 12,000 miles and i got it at 93,000 miles and it has over 208,000 miles and iv never changed the tranny fluid or anything on it. all it gets is and oil chenge every few months. i dont even grease the chassis. and my step dads ford is ugly and a piece of crap. and the tranny slips. with only 37,000 miles. ford sucks and chevys rule pure and simple.
