Actually, birth control and condoms do not give you 100% protection, nor are the pregnancy tests 100% accurate.
There are a few ways that you can still get pregnant while practicing birth control methods. For example, you are the most fertile after you stop taking BC, even just for a couple of days. Many doctors prescribe BC to women who are having trouble getting pregnant, let their bodies get used to it for a while and then take them off. Also, if you are on BC and are taking prescribed antibiotics, your BC can become inactive.
Two friends of mine got pregnant in both situations described above. Also, one of those friends took 3 pregnancy tests and all said she was negative. The other girl's doctor tested her too and she was negative.
Some people can't use BC either...I for one have been advised NOT to because I have a history of Stroke in my family and the hormones in BC are not good for me; I also have spider veins on my legs, which is a sign of poor circulation (at only 24 y/o, its awful!). I was on BC for a short period of time and experienced horrible headaches and had to get off. There are also people who are allergic to spermicide and latex, therefore ruling out the use of condoms.
I have always practiced safe sex as I urge everyone to do so. But, you can't help what nature/God sets in place for you. I think critics should give women a break. YES there are people out there just having sex w/o protection -- they are asking to get pregnant. But there are a number of women who take all the precautions and still get pregnant.

Do you ever think that there is women here who are trying to get pregnant and it being their first and don't reconize the signs and needs help. I'm glad there are people asking questions for everyone have different expenices that help others. So maybe this why they ask their question "Could I be Pregnant?"

most of them are not on birth control because they want to conceive or are trying to conceive..and the rest sometimes dont realize that it CAN only take that one time ...but this is the pregnancy section so people ask about being pregnant...some want to hear that they are some want reassurance that they are not...I dont mind if my answer is going to help out...

Sadly, there is so much ignorance of basic bodily functions out there, in addition to amazing amounts of misinformation. My little sister (16) told me that all her "friends" believed that you couldn't get an STD from oral sex and so that was a good way to keep your virginity! Crazy stuff going around...Sad really.

Obviously not. I think people need to go back to science class and see where their reproduction organs are, how they get pregnant and that yes, pre-c** get you pregnant.
Just makes me roll my eyes everytime I read one.

If you are so annoyed by them, then don't answer them. It's that simple. It's a public forum, not owned and operated by you.
