What kind of neighbor are you?

Question

Are you the "nosy"neighbor,where your face print is either on the screen door or the bedroom screen?
Are you the "hermit"neighbor,only seen leaving or coming?
Are you the "welcoming"neighbor,the one who welcomes you to the neighborhood with gifts?
Or,are you the type of neighbor who is quiet during the week but LOUD on the weekend causing the tenants to call the police on you to shut you up?
Or how about the kind of neighbor that only speaks when you need something from other neighbors?
Are you all of the above or none of the above?

I am one that minds their own business...unless someone is messing with one of my kids. Then I will mess someone up!! DON'T EVER MESS WITH MY KIDS!!! It's not a wise decision:)

I recently moved to a fairly rough, low-rent neighbourhood, but after 15 years in a dangerous, crack-infested neighbourhood, it feels like Heaven to me. Everything is relative. I live in a nice suite in the basement of a house, and the upstairs is the owner's hair salon. This means that after 6:00 when she goes home, I'm all alone, and can make all the noise I want to. And now that I can, after all these years, I realized that I don't want to. How sad is that? That said, being comfortable inside your house is far more important than what's going on outside of it, and I love my quiet new apartment. P.S. Handyman (if that really is your name), you mentioned in a previous post that you had only seen a poor copy of Meet John Doe; it is a great film about neighbours, how we treat them, and how we should treat them. You, and anyone interested in the subject, should really watch it again if this subject interests you. A great double bill on neighbourliness would be Meet John Doe and It's A Wonderful Life, both directed by Frank Capra, and both shown around Christmas on TCM, PBS, and others.

I am the "hermit"neighbor. I like to mind my own business. Unless, someone is being hurt, then I become the "nosy" neighbor.

I'm the reserved friendly neighbor. Make sure I get to know your name and who you are first. Maybe occasionally talk if I see you outside. But other than that you'll never notice me.

I do keep to myself, but I make frequent appearances, thanks to my hyperactive dog. I do allow kids to go in the yard to retrieve their toys and basketballs.
