For those of you who don't know, an "aspie" is someone who was diagnosed, and living with asperger syndrome. Basically, what it is is high functioning autism. what this means is someone who is living with this condition can function at a much higher lever than someone who has standard autism. As someone who was diagnosed with the condition myself, I myself find it quite difficult to see things in a positive light.

Aspies often have strengths that make them succesful in the world. Aspie is someone with diagnosed with aspurgers.

Because they don't see their disability as a bad thing, but instead a different thing. They view their world differently and it is OK. It is us who cannot accept the difference that they accept.
People with aspergers can be very successful adults if they find the right niche to live their lives in.

because they dont think of it as a disability. i know a girl with aspbergers and the first time we talked she mentioned that she had it. it doesn't really bother them.
